Local home and community health care workers who work across the Peel Region and Orangeville area,
recently delivered a petition to Ontario Health Minister Sylvia Jones office.
These frontline Home and Community Care Support Service workers have not received a raise for many years, despite the working conditions throughout the pandemic.
I spoke with a couple of the workers & CUPE Representatives who were present at the petition delivery.
CUPE will head back to the bargaining table May 24th.
