Walk your dog and raise money for cancer research!
May is Cancer Research Month. The Canadian Cancer Society is hosting a virtual challenge for everyone with a Facebook account and a dog.
The ’50km Dog Walk Challenge’ is raising funds and awareness across social media. There is no fee to join and you have no obligations raise any specific amount. All you have to do is walk your dog and track your activity while sharing it with your friends.
As of the time of writing, the challenge has raised more than $160,000 of the $180,000 goal.
