A local dog needs your help!
For the last two months, Fur-Ever Able Dog Rescue in Mono has been taking care of a miniature bulldog named Blue after he was given up.
The organization focuses on dogs in tough situations and more specifically, dogs dealing with disabilities. They mostly take on dogs and puppies with cleft palate issues. Andrews will raise them and look after their surgeries. When they’re ready, the dogs will then be put up for adoption.
Over a year ago, Blue suffered a broken leg. Organization founder Ashley Andrews says the break healed without surgery, but something has come up that requires testing.
Blue will need to undergo more testing to find the root cause of his issues. Andrews is hoping people will donate any amount they can or share the story to help fundraise. They’re aiming for upwards of $4000 as they try find out what is affecting Blue.
If you can donate, you can send an eTransfer to fureverable@hotmail.com. A PayPal option is also available. You will receive a tax receipt.
