The Town of Orangeville would like to remind residents that winter parking regulations apply during the daytime when there is a snow event.
What is considered a snow event? An accumulation of 5 cm or more.
This is to ensure our snow plows can navigate safely through all streets.
You may be ticketed if your vehicle prevents the plow from completing a street properly.
The Orangeville Public Works team has prepared the roads for this event and will continue to respond throughout the day.
Did You Know?
While winter parking regulations are in effect, you may use the bottom boulevard portion of your driveway to park overnight.
There is a correct and incorrect way to park!
Parking incorrectly in this space can prevent the sidewalk plow or road plows from getting by, along with other challenges.
Tires must remain on the pavement
Bumper cannot protrude onto the sidewalk or road
If you share a driveway, your vehicle must remain on your side
