It took just a few hours for Milton to have its first baby of 2024.
Baby Lee arrived at 2:50 a.m. on Monday, January 1st, 2024, weighing in at a healthy nine pounds and nine ounces.
The staff, professional staff and volunteers at the Milton District Hospital and Halton Healthcare have extended their best wishes and congratulations to the family.
“The birth of a child is always a momentous occasion, and we are grateful to be part of these joyous events,” says the release.
Halton Healthcare welcomed 4,565 babies through their Maternal Child Departments at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Milton District Hospital and Georgetown Hospital last fiscal year.
“Many thanks are extended to our dedicated obstetrical team members who play a crucial role in ensuring safe childbirth and the well-being of both mothers and babies, and in particular those members of the team who worked on the statutory holidays this 2023 holiday season,” adds Halton Healthcare.
