After an extensive 13 month renovation,
The Orangeville Public Library on Mill Street will welcome the community back on November 21st.
Major works completed at Mill Street Library include:
1. Creating a new elevator shaft and installing a new elevator
2. Installing a glass atrium at the front of the building
3. Introducing new garden and plant materials for the front of the atrium
4. Renovating the public washrooms on the lower level
5. Building a new accessible washroom on the main floor
6. Revamping the front reception area and installing a new service desk
7. Updating the flooring, lighting, and furniture in the lobby
8. Modernizing the electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems
9. Enhancing the interior ambiance through painting and decorating
The satellite location of the Orangeville Public Library at the Train Station (49 Town Line) will be open for its final day on November 17th.
Both locations of the library will be closed on Monday, November 20th for the final preparations.
The official Grand Opening Event will be held on February 10th, 2024.
