After two successful quarterly Town Hall events hosted by Mayor Lisa Post, the next quarterly Town Hall meeting will be held later this month.
Returning to the Tony Rose Arena, residents will have the opportunity once again to hear from the Mayor, staff, and members of council regarding some key issues in Orangeville.
“We’re excited to bring more conversation directly to our residents, including the announcement of the winner of our snow plow naming contest,” said Mayor Post.
“If you haven’t had a chance to attend a public Town Hall yet, I encourage you to attend. We welcome the opportunity to engage with the community and look forward to continuing to do so.”
The doors to the banquet hall will open at 6:00 p.m. with presentations beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Attending alongside Mayor Post will be Councillors Tess Prendergast and Debbie Sherwood, speaking on Sustainability and Orangeville’s Tree Canopy, as well as Heritage Orangeville.
Other key topics on the agenda include:
– Results of the private tree survey
– Winter parking regulations
– Announcement of the Snow Plow Naming Contest winner
– SeeClickFix and how this reporting tool can be used.
Following Staff and Council presentations, a question and answer period will be held for those in attendance.
Questions can also be submitted online during the event, which will be livestreamed on Instagram @townoforangeville.
