Saturday, September 30th is the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
We are happy to be participating in A DAY TO LISTEN 2023, in partnership with the Downie-Wenjack Fund.
The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund is part of Gord Downie’s legacy and commitment to continue the conversation that began with Chanie Wenjack’s residential school story.
In collaboration with the Wenjack Family, the goal is to aid the collective reconciliation journey through a combination of awareness, education, and action.
Tune into FM101 Orangeville from 6AM-6PM to celebrate the diversity of Indigenous identity with special guests and your hosts, William Prince, Aysanabee, and ShoShona Kish.
In Orangeville, the Dufferin County Cultural Resource Circle will be hosting a walk at Alder Arena that will follow the pathway to the Medicine Wheel Garden at Bravery Park, scheduled to begin at 2PM.
