Friday June 23rd will mark the 25th Annual Barry Burman Summer Shootout!
Over 800 lacrosse Coaches, Bench staff and Players plus their families and fans will be in Orangeville, watching 90 lacrosse games played over the three days at the Alder Street Arena and Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre.
The tournament is played in memory of Barry, who was a Player, Coach, Volunteer and Executive Member of the Orangeville Northmen Lacrosse Association.
Barry Burman was a fan of the game and passionate about being involved with the sport.
After a battle with cancer, Barry passed away at the age of 51 in August of 1998.
Starting Friday, 40 A/B ranked teams from 18 different Ontario Lacrosse Associations represent five divisions including U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17.
