The 2023-2024 season line-up for the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton has finally been announced!
The latest season is filled with entertaining shows, celebrated musicians and family-friendly performances. It showcases an eclectic mix of new and returning performers that promises to be one of the most exhilarating and memorable seasons to date.
With the number of kids shows this season, supervisor for the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton Lorrie Ferrante has some advice for young parents who might be going to their first live show post-pandemic.

She adds that it’s important to have a great music of performances because the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton prides itself in always having something for everyone. That even extends to local artists coming in everyone month to display different genres of music.
Among the headline acts this season will be The Trews, who are back by popular demand. Ferrante says they were the band who last performed at the arts centre before COVID-19 forced everything to shut down. While The Trews created a lot of buzz when the schedule was first announced, it’s actually another act that has Ferrante’s interest piqued.

She’s also looking forward to seeing the 2021 Juno Award winners, Crown Lands, as they make their Milton stage debut in March 2024.
Season highlights include:
- Rock legend and Canadian rock music royalty, Burton Cummings returns with his band to perform his timeless hits. A six-time Juno Award winner, recipient of the Order of Canada and member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Cummings continues to entertain and delight his audiences.
- Also returning to the stage in Milton in country music star Dean Brody. A passionate storyteller and lyricist, Brody has 18 CCMA Awards and two Juno awards to his name, and continues to set Canadian country music records.
- Bringing laughter to stage is Middle Raged, a hilarious sketch comedy show featuring Geri Hall (22 Minutes, Second City) and Gary Pearson (MadTV, Corner Gas). Laugh out loud as the duo explore a variety of middle-aged themes including raising kids, empty nests and bedroom role playing.
- Returning to the FirstOnatrio Arts Centre Milton stage is Canadian rock band The Trews. The Nova Scotia-bred, Hamilton, ON-based band has won universal acclaim for their exciting live performances. The Trews have been one of Canada’s most successful rock bands of the past decade, earning 17 Top 10 Rock radio singles, two Gold-certified albums and a 2019 Juno nomination for Best Rock Album.
- This season also features great family entertainment including Erth’s DINOSAUR ZOO LIVE. A breathtaking tour that begins in pre-historic Australia, the show features an eye-popping collection of amazingly life-like dinosaurs and other creatures that will thrill and entertain audiences—young and old.
- Making their Milton stage debut is Crown Lands, a Canadian duo with their unique style of progressive rock. Juno Award winners in 2021 for “Breakthrough Group of the Year,” Crown Lands are born storytellers and who together have cultivated an unforgettable sound. Crown Lands’ performance is presented in conjunction with the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund.
