The Town of Milton is warning residents of impending construction at the Milton Sports Centre that will impact parking.
Construction will close the south parking lot to the public from Monday, May 29th to Tuesday, June 20th.
The Milton Sports Centre will undergo phased parking lot improvements throughout the spring and summer. During construction, visitors can park at the Milton Sports Centre’s north parking lot and access the southeast parking lot, near Milton Community Park, through the McLaughlin Avenue entrance.
Improvements to the south parking lot will include the removal and replacement of existing asphalt, concrete curbs and line painting.
A second phase of construction will take place from Monday, July 3rd through to Monday, July 31st. It will include improvements to the Santa Maria Boulevard primary parking lot driveway entrance and access laneway that connects the north and south parking lots.
During this construction phase, the south parking lot will be reopened and accessible only by the McLaughlin Avenue entrance as the Santa Maria Boulevard entrance will be closed for construction.
