Georgian College’s in-person Pow Wow returns this March for the first time in four years.
Students, employees and the public are invited to the college’s 15th Traditional Pow Wow, celebrating and learning about Indigenous culture, song and dance.
The theme this year is Honouring the Cycle of Life.
The annual Pow Wow takes place in the Barrie Campus Athletic Centre on Saturday, March 11th.
A free dinner feast will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for all attendees.
Admission and parking are free.
Donations of non-perishable food items to the Georgian Food Locker (an on-campus food bank for students) are encouraged.
For those who are unable to attend, the Grand Entry at noon will be livestreamed on Georgian’s YouTube channel at YouTube.com/GeorgianCollegeCA.
