Tim Hortons has announced $625,000 was raised through the sale of their Special Olympics Donuts.
100-percent of the funds will go to support athletes with an intellectual disability and help them access more opportunities.
The coffee shop has been a sponsor of Special Olympics Canada since 2016.
They support Special Olympics Canada through their FUNdamentals and Active Start youth programs.
The programs provide opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, enhance skills and create friendships.
This years donations surpassed the amount raised last year by almost $30,000.
