In November 2022 and throughout the holiday season, Headwaters Health Care Foundation challenged the community to raise $700,000 which would then be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Morningview Foundation.
On January 10th , 2023, Headwaters received the donation that put them over the goal, which was the largest match challenge for Headwaters Foundation ever.
The generosity of the community and commitment from the Morningview Foundation has allowed Headwaters to purchase equipment needed to continue to provide outstanding care, close to home, for the community.
All gifts that were received in response to this challenge will be used to purchase vital medical equipment and upgrades for the hospital.
The government does not provide funding for all of the vital medical equipment the hospital’s health care team needs to provide the best possible care.
