Dufferin OPP can provide a specially trained member who will conduct a property security review of homes and businesses through the OPP Safeguard Ontario Property Security Program.
This program is a public awareness and education initiative that has been well received in other communities.
The specially trained Auxiliary officers present the home and business owner the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) information to help reduce re-victimization of property crimes.

Members of the OPP Auxiliary Unit attached to the of the Dufferin detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are often the unrecognized members who help lift our community through volunteer participation at numerous community events.
