Get ready to see the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF) at your door.
MDHF staff will be in your neighbourhood this summer asking for your support. They will be canvassing door-to-door from June through August seeking monthly donations and raising awareness about the ongoing need for funds to equip Milton District Hospital.
Milton District Hospital Foundation is partnering with Globalfaces Direct for its door-to-door fundraising campaign in the community. The staff have completed safety training, are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment and use contactless payment methods to minimize any potential risk of illness. The team will adhere to the social distancing and prevention practices outlined in Ontario’s Public Health and Safety Protocols.
These canvassers will have an MDHF lanyard with a photo I.D. that will be clearly visible. They will also be wearing vests with the MDHF logo. Canvassers will be in neighbourhoods Monday through Saturday asking potential donors to consider contributing to the hospital. Those looking to give are reminded that canvassers will never ask for cash, cheque, or credit information at the door.
“Milton District Hospital Foundation relies on the support of our community to raise the critical funds needed to continue providing exemplary care to the people living in Milton and the surrounding area,” shares Helen Vatistas, Executive Director of Milton District Hospital Foundation. “When you sign up to be a monthly donor, you are helping to ensure that our health care workers have access to the equipment they need to provide the best possible care to their patients.“
