Trustees for The Halton District School Board have approved the proposed school year calendar for 2022-2023 which will begin on Tuesday September 6th 2022.
The upcoming calendar dates were approved in a Board meeting last Wednesday February 2nd.
Final approval of the calendar by the Ministry of Education is anticipated in Spring 2022.
The school year calendar is developed with input from the School Year Calendar Committee which consists of representatives from interested and affected groups including parents/guardians.
The calendar outlines Professional Activity days (PA) for staff when schools will be closed to students, and also gives notice of school breaks and holidays.
The 2022-2023 calendar will be provided to schools to be shared with students and parents/guardians.
