The Milton Fire Department (MFD) is launching the 12 Days of Fire Safety this weekend.
Starting on Sunday, December 12th, the MFD helping you keep safe during this holiday season by launching Sparky’s campaign, which features 12 vital fire safety topics that protect you against seasonal risks – including electrical, cooking, and heating fire prevention.
“During the holiday season when we are spending time with our loved ones, it is important to be vigilant and keep safety at top of mind,” says Milton Fire Chief Peter Gatto. “We encourage you to enjoy the festive season while always making fire safe choices.”
Sparky, the National Fire Prevention Association’s mascot, is included in fire safety scenarios and videos to help inform residents of the importance of being extra cautious during the holiday season.
