A Remembrance Day ceremony was held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milton on Thursday.
Dozens, if not hundreds, of residents gathered around the cenotaph to pay their respects. Most wore masks and were able to spread themselves out in an orderly fashion.
Speaking with a number of them, they spoke about why they came to the ceremony; who they honour on Remembrance Day; and, in one case, why they joined the cadets.
