Continuing the success of the Umbrella Project last year, the Upper Grand District School Board is excited to kick-off another year of promoting positive mental health .
The symbol of an umbrella, is used to represent the ways in which our skill sets, can help us work through some of the stressors we are faced with, especially through the changes brought on by COVID-19.
Monthly themes, activities and curriculum links, will help support students and staff, to focus on wellness throughout the school year.
There will also be monthly columns in school newsletters, to support parents and guardians to build these skills alongside their children.
