A local sandwich shop franchise is celebrating International Nurses Day.
Jason Edgar, the owner operator of Firehouse Subs in Orangeville says his store will supply boxed lunches to the front-line staff at local nursing homes.
The lunch packs will be delivered to Chartwell Retirement Home, Avalon Retirement Home, Bethsaida Retirement Home and Lord Center Retirement Home.
The program is a partnership between the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada through their dedicated COVID-19 Disaster Relief
Fund.
