Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health’s Orangeville COVID-19 vaccination hub will be located at Alder Rec Centre.
Preparations for the hub are already underway and the clinic is expected to open on March 3rd.
Public Health says Alder is an ideal spot for a vaccination site given its accessibility and ample parking.
Once it opens, the clinic will have a capacity of 300 vaccinations per day with the ability to increase to 2,500 doses per day.
The hub will also be supplemented by mobile clinics in Dufferin County to give residents even more access to the vaccine.
