The province has appointed the former head of the Canadian Armed Forces, General Rick Hillier to oversee a COVID-19 vaccine rollout as Ontario marks another 1,589 more cases today.
Premier Doug Ford said the first doses are expected to be ready early next year.
There are 75 new coronavirus cases in the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph region and 152 active cases.
In Dufferin, there are 5 newly confirmed cases and 11 active ones.
