An autumn staple in the GTA and a recent social media landmark will look a little different, thanks to COVID-19.
Downey’s Farm says it is still selling pumpkins, but they’re not on the front lawn on display — instead, they are placed in bins.
It’s part of a few operation changes the Inglewood farm has announced after the province tightened COVID-19 restrictions in light of a second wave.
On its website, Downey’s says, “We would like to remind everyone that the pumpkins are for purchase and not a suitable place for picture taking at this time.”
On October 10th, premier Doug Ford announced an indoor gathering cap at 10 people and outdoor limit at 25 individuals.
