The newly revealed Parks and Recreation Master Plan has some residents up in arms.
The plan, which was released Friday on the town’s website, infuriated some enough to take to social media slamming council for even considering closing the main library branch on Mill Street.
In an exclusive interview with myFM news, Orangeville mayor Sandy Brown downplayed the idea, saying the town will only being presented with the master lan, and that doesn’t mean its proposals will be passed overnight.
Council’s discussion of the master plan has been postponed for a special meeting on July 27th.
