An Alberta resident was recently charged in Caledon for drinking and driving with toddlers aboard.
Caledon OPP received a call just after 11pm on Canada Day from a concerned motorist who observed a white sedan travelling southbound on Highway 10, crossing into the opposite lane and speeding.
As police were taking the call, one of their officers had already pulled over the vehicle.
Upon investigation, officers discovered the driver was under the influence of alcohol and also had open liquor in the vehicle with two small children in the backseat.
A 31-year-old Edmonton resident was arrested and charged with impaired driving, driving with open alcohol and speeding.
The accused is set to appear in Orangeville court on September 10th.
