The new and improved Everykids Park is complete.
The aging park and splash pad off Dawson Road, also known as EveryKids Park, was demolished last year for a major overhaul in which the town invested about $1million into.
When it originally opened, the park was hailed as the first accessible playground in Canada and its features have been revamped to meet the latest safety and accessibility standards.
The original splash pad has been replaced with over 27, bright and colourful spray and water features including the main feature, the “Lady Bug Soaker”.
It also includes features geared towards toddlers, children and younger youth.
The playground at Everykids Park will be open to the public once the province lifts COVID-19 restrictions.
