COVID-19 made this Mother’s Day a challenging one for both mom’s and their children
One Orangeville senior had a wonderful surprise Sunday when her daughter Sandy made a sign with photos of all of her children and placed it on her front lawn.
Diane Ryan says it brought tears to her eyes.
It has been a rough couple of weeks for Ryan, who lives alone.
She had a close friend pass away of cancer, and another that died of COVID-19 in Montreal.
Ryan, says she has adapted during the pandemic and has learned new ways to stay in contact with her family.
Diane says her family is very tight-knit, but the pandemic has been very difficult.
She says she can’t wait for it to be over so she can give all of her kids and grandkids a big hug.
