Orangeville councillor Todd Taylor says he doesn’t resort to social media to express frustration often, but a situation that took place this week prompted him to do so.
Taylor says a group of youths congregating a local skate park had to be dispersed by police twice this week.
He says he’s especially frustrated because most residents are going stir crazy at home and would like to get out too, but are choosing to keep the rest of the community safe by self-isolating at home to avoid the spread of the virus.
Taylor is also worried hospitals in Canada will become as overwhelmed as those in the States and there will be a depletion of medical resources as COVID-19 cases grow.
