Police in Michigan have arrested Earl Howard of Belwood near the Sarnia border.
Earlier this week, the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office in North Dakota issued an arrest warrant for the 41-year-old in connection to the death of Chad Entzel and a house fire on January 2.
Howard is accused of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, arson, conspiracy to commit arson and conspiracy to tamper with evidence.
Entzel’s wife, Nikki Entzel, who police say has some sort of relationship with Howard, was charged this week with conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit arson and conspiracy to tamper with physical evidence.
US Customs and Border Patrol officers say Howard was arrested early on Thursday (Jan. 9) on the Blue Water Bridge.
The Orangeville Banner is linking Howard to a candlelight vigil for Kaden Young last February. It reports Howard was listed as an organizer of the event on a Facebook page.
