Today is the 101.5 myFM and Zehrs All Hands On Deck Community Food Drive. From 10-6 p.m., myFM and its community partners will be outside of Zehrs, Sobeys and FreshCo. collecting donations for the food bank.
We need your help to fill the vehicles that will be parked outside the stores full of donations.
Food Bank executive director Heather Hayes says they have a goal to collect 60,000 lbs of food this month. She knows its a tall order, but they wouldn’t be asking if they didn’t need it.
According to recent stats, 34 per cent of users are children and 14 per cent are seniors.
