The board of directors at Headwaters Health Care Centre is removing the title of interim from its president and CEO.
After being in the position since early October, Kim Delahunt has assumed the role permanently.
Lori Ker, board chair, says Delahunt has demonstrated her commitment to the hospital’s values and embraced her role providing stability and continuity in the important work that is underway.
“She has built and strengthened relationships with staff, physicians, volunteers, donors, the team at Headwaters Health Care Foundation and with our broader community,” adds Ker. “During Kim’s short time with us she has also successfully furthered the development of the Hills of Headwaters Collaborative Ontario Health Team.”
Delahunt was formerly the vice president of Health System Strategy, Integration and Planning at the Central West Local Health Integration Network.
