Pietro Cioffi is Dufferin’s latest lotto winner. The 40-year-old Mono man won the guaranteed $1-million prize in the August 31 Lotto 6/49 draw.
“When I saw that I had won, I took off for the store where I had purchased the ticket,” says Cioffi.
The winning ticket was purchased on his daughter’s birthday at Mono Mart on Highway 10.
The self-employed dad plans to pay off his mortgage, take care of his family and take a vacation with his winnings.
