For the second time in a week, Orangeville Police has caught a vehicle going at a high rate of speed on Veterans Way.
Last Saturday (Aug. 24), a cop was patrolling near Broadway and Veterans Way when they saw a vehicle travelling at high speeds.
Police say the vehicle was going so fast, it squealed the tires as it turned northbound onto Veterans Way.
The vehicle was allegedly clocked going 141 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
The driver, an 18-year-old man from Orangeville was charged with stunt driving. He lost his licence for a week and his vehicle was impounded.
A week earlier, a Rockwood man was charged with stunt driving for allegedly doing 119 km/h on Veterans Way.
