Alton designer, Heather Chapplain was happily plugging away in her design studio, turning previously worn clothing into entirely new clothing, through a process called upcycling, when Hollywood came knocking.
In January, a representative from the Golden Globes called about featuring her clothing in their VIP swag bags, to be distributed to starlets.
Fashion seemed to be in Chapplain’s blood, as the former model now combines her love of clothing design with her environmental activism.
