Bernadette Hardaker entered the field of broadcasting and journalism when women in the industry were starting to break the glass ceiling and make a name for themselves on television and radio.
The former journalist and CBC Radio personality spent her early days covering Indigenous Affairs.
Her love of writing inspired her to write stories about family history.
She is now the general manager of Theatre Orangeville.
