Danielle Jenkins is mentally preparing herself for a potential grand stage and the responsibility of a large platform that comes with it.
Jenkins was crowned Miss World Dufferin County back in May. Now she’s getting ready for the national competition later this month to become the next Miss World Canada.
Jenkins says competing in the pageant isn’t a stretch for her as she already spearheads a charity foundation and mentors youth.
In less than two weeks, Jenkins will be headed to Toronto for the national pageant where she will be up against women from across the country competing to represent Canada on the global stage.
The 23-year-old entrepreneur hopes her story can be inspiration for others to jump into the deep end, chase dreams and take opportunities as they come.
Miss World Canada runs July 21-27.
In the lead up to the competition, Jenkins has hosted several fundraiser for the Children’s Wish Foundation. Her big event is a black tie gala on Friday (July 11) at Adamo Winery.
