NEW SHOP IN DOWNTOWN ORANGEVILLE WANTS TO BREAK THE STIGMA AROUND CANNABIS 4/12/2018 9:52:55 AM
Cody Coulson wants people to come inside his new store in downtown Orangeville and learn about the health benefits of cannabinoids.
Stop and Smell the Roses has been open for about a month at the corner of First and Broadway.
It sells legal cannabinoids (CBD), derived through hemp from the male cannabis plant and doesn't produce tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
It's Coulson's fourth store in south central Ontario.
For the most part business has been good, however, he says there are still a lot of people that carry a negative stigma with cannabis.
Coulson, who is epileptic, suffered from seizures until he switched from pharmaceutical drugs to CBD a few years ago.
The family run business carries fully regulated products that can not only treat epilepsy but also anxiety, pain and other ailments.
