4/10/2018 12:39:20 PM

The country continues to mourn the death of 15 hockey players and staff of the Humboldt Broncos after their bus crashed with a transport truck last Friday (Apr. 6).

myFM News spoke to Orangeville Jr. A Flyers Head Coach Justin Teakle.

Among those killed were ten players, the youngest 16, the head coach, assistant coach, team statistician, bus driver, and play-by-play announcer.

A GoFundMe account continues to raise money for the survivors and for the families of those who lost loved ones. It has raised nearly $6.9-million.

Teakle is in awe with how the country has supported Humboldt.

Teakle says he will be speaking to his team about the tragedy.

People on social media are putting up hockey sticks outside their front doors in honour of the players and staff that were killed using the hashtags #PutYourStickOut and #SticksOutForHumboldt.
