OWNER OF LOCAL VAPE SHOP HOPES NEW VAPING REGULATION WON'T HURT BUSINESS
12/6/2017 3:46:43 PM

Kurt Wolf hopes the provincial government isn't blowing smoke when it says vape shops like his will be exempt from new vaping laws.

The owner of Howling Wolf Vape says his main concern with Bill 174 has to do with display, promotion, and flavours.

Wolf says that one of the biggest reasons why vaping as an alternative to smoking is successful is because of the flavours offered.

Last month, Health Minister Eric Hoskins said the purpose of the bill is to keep e-cigarettes and vaping products out the hands of children.

He added that the bill allows the government to exempt certain types of establishments.

The legislation is currently making its way through Queen's Park.
