It's a busy afternoon on roads leading north to cottage country.

OPP say the Victoria Day long weekend is traditionally one of the busiest on Canadian roads.

The provincial force says its officers will be focusing on the big four this weekend, which includes impaired, inattentive and aggressive driving as well as lack of seat belt use. They account for the majority of motor vehicle collision fatalities across the province.

This week police services have also been participating in the Drive Safe campaign.

One of the campaign's focus is to make you aware of "Move Over" law.

Move over or slow down and proceed with caution when passing an emergency vehicle or tow truck parked on the side of the roadway with its emergency lights activated.
