Purple Hill park remains closed as the Town of Mono continues to deal with vandalism at the playground.
Director of Recreation Kim Perryman says there is still a lot of glass in the playground's sand.

FOUR TEENS WONT FACE CHARGES FOR HORSE PRANK AT ERIN HIGH SCHOOL

Police confirm the horse statue that was hoisted onto the roof of Erin District High School in June was a prank.
Four teens are responsible for stealing the horse from McMullan Park and putting it onto the school roof.

OPP INVESTIGATING SMASHED WINDOWS AT ERIN PUBLIC SCHOOL

There's been more vandalism reported in Erin.
Fifteen windows were smashed at Erin Public School on Sunday (Aug. 20).
According to OPP, officers were called to the school after reports of yelling and banging.

REPAIRS NEEDED AT SHELBURNE WATER TOWER

Repairs to the Shelburne water tower will shut it down for about six weeks.
The good news is that it won't cost as much as what was originally thought.
Exterior painting and minor inside lining repairs will cost about $240,000 rather than $500,000.

Theatre Orangeville's Young Company is putting on the show at the new amphitheatre this weekend (Aug. 25-27).

SURVEY SHOWS PERCENTAGE FOR VIOLENT CRIMES IS DOWN IN SHELBURNE

Violent crimes are down in Shelburne according to Satistics Canada's 2016 survey.
It shows the Crime Serverity Index (CSI) for violent crimes was down by 16.2 per cent at 38.0 per cent compared to the national average sitting at 75.3 per cent.

A mosquito batch has tested positive for West Nile in Caledon East.
Peel Public Health says the postive batch was collected from Cranston Drive and Airport Road last week.

Among those employers are Millennium1 Solutions, KTH Shelburne Manufacturing, and Ice River Springs.
The job fair is from 10-1 p.m.
